As mentioned in a previous post, the Provincial E-lection is likely to have a high volume of online content. Here is the minimum I expect from people soliciting my vote. A candidate website, with the obvious information – contact details, office location.
Media content at the website – an introductory video, audio or video of major speeches or events
Some form of regular ‘report’ – could be a daily blog, twitter updates, or such
Opt-in communication – an email list, RSS feed, twitter feed that keeps folks updated on ways to participate.
Finally a good way to provide feedback, forums are okay, online donation tool is good, but some form of two way communication that provides examples that it is used and followed up on.
