While candidates have varying degrees of online activity, the parties are in (mostly) full force. The political parties own websites are full of the campaign material and platform. That isn’t anything new. The presence of the parties in more public ‘social’ sites are the new online tools.

Facebook and Twitter are the tools of choice with all parties having a presence on those.


YouTube appears to be the new advertising platform, but the NDP are missing in action on that front

How these types of adds get accounted in the costs of this campaign will be an interesting story.
